You were directed towards LIDL AND THEN LEFT and left again towards Calle Galicia, can’t see much parking here.

Just exactly from where to where is the High Street blocked off? Surely you can access Calle Los Arcos and hence the car park behind the garage by The Computer Shop and also the underground car park?

Why don't people just park in the underground car park. It's got two levels and a lift. They other day only had seven car's in.

Yes I agree, there appears no reason why Calle Los Arcos, the road just before the arches, should not be accessible. However I think the roundabout may be constantly snarled up at peak times and then getting into that car park(at peak times) may also be even more difficult, as it's often difficult when the shopping street is not closed to traffic.

However, there has always been parking in the roads 'around' the high street. It may not be as near as many people like to be and may be more difficult at this time to find a space, but for those, without mobilty problems, it will just be a bit of a walk and most of us drive too much and don't always get the exercise we need.

There is also the underground car park opposite the tabac shop, which can also be accessed without using the main shopping street (for most of us it will just need a little detour) and it will be easier when we have all got used to the ways round the 'high street' without going through it.

Before anyone says, I do understand that all the alternative parking will be busier, while these road works are ongoing, but hopefully at certain times of the day it may get a bit easier, if we don't all use the peak times.

Hi Jan. How can you access the underground car park without going down the High Street? If I recall that road is one way from the High Street.

I assume they will have to change the access, temporarily, or no-one will use it. They should be having detour signs put out (we hope!)

The improvement to the road surfaces will be good.... and the footpaths at the moment are so dangerous... there will be no more backing out blind into the main road as parking will be nose to tail... the whole area will look better, smarter, the shops should do well as it will look much more appealing.

I suppose Rojales council could ignore the state of the roads and let them all subside into total disrepair with potholes everywhere and let the footpaths become obstacle courses, give up on drainage and let Quesada look like a 100 year old ghost town..
.
.

Or maybe they are trying to improve things.. Damn!! just imagine that..!!... what a waste of time..!!

:D

Well Rojales council is making a damn good job of ignoring the state of the roads on most of the rest of Quesada!!!!!

Not sure it is the start of the planned improvement! As it looks like it is just the plumbing for the new mad y mas to me
